
Chill Out Samara Beach Hotel is located in a privileged place, just a few meters away from the ocean. We are located in Sámara south beach between Sámara and Carillo, a small fishing town.

Sámara is a quiet town in Cantón de Nicoya at Guanacaste State, Costa Rica. It owns a large beach of more than 7km of white sand from where you can devise Chora Island.
Sámara beach is a beautiful protected bay, due to this fact it makes the place one of thesafest beaches in the country. That is why it is an ideal beach to practice water sports such as diving, swimming, kayak and surf.
Moreover it has been awarded with the Ecologic Blue Flag for being a clean and well-preserved beach.
Due to our proximity to the sea, we have a privileged view, the beach it is just in front of our cabins. The perfect place to see colourful sunsets in the Pacific Ocean.
Sámara combines the charm of a small and quiet town with different hotels, restaurants, bars and entertainment places such as street markets. Besides the amount of sports and activities you can practice outside such as horse riding, fishing, and marine tours…
Our hostel is the perfect destination for those who are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay in touch with nature. But also for those who are looking for a combination of beach and entertainment.
For those who during the visit to Sámara would like to visit other beaches, in the north you will find Buenavista beach, most of the times empty of people. It is very easy to access to it through the Cangrejal village. Just behind the beach there is a lagoon and twolarge wetlands with crocodiles and a big range of wild birds. It is a very important place due to the nesting season for four different turtle specimen. Although the best place to watch them is Ostional.
Also very closed to Sámara, just 5km to the south there is a very beautiful beach, Carrillo beach, considered one of the most attractive of Centre America. Surrounded by palm and coconut trees and rock it is the perfect place to swim and practice snorkel in its clear water.
Carrillo beach has a two-motorway boulevard opposite to the beach, so it is very easy to park your car. There is also a place for picnic and shadow places under the palm trees. Itis a very colourful place, not very busy, perfect for a family day.
There is also a little bridge from where you can devise crocodiles sunbathing in themorning.
By car:
From San José you will need to follow the Interamericana motorway until reaching Tempisque River. You will have to cross the river through the new bridge and thencontinuing until Nicoya and Sámara. Sámara is connected to Nicoya through motorwayjust 36km away.
By bus:
The bus departs from San José everyday at 12 am from Alfaro bus station, just 150metres away from Coca Cola station.
